Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) François-Xavier Crétin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 10th minute of the match Geneuille got a corner. Choisel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Davy Georgin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Walter Boudet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mounir Maille was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 13 played minutes Geneuille got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Combier. If Cyrille Radet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Cyrille Radet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Geneuille's zone, Cyrille Radet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mounir Maille came out of the goal and Cyrille Radet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Boudet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mounir Maille tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Simon Odin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Geneuille's zone, Cyrille Radet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mounir Maille came out of the goal and Cyrille Radet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hervé Colpaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from François-Xavier Crétin in the 34th minute of the match. Richard Gobillot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hervé Colpaert having to interfere. Hervé Colpaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from François-Xavier Crétin in the 37th minute of play. Manuel Combier charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Combier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manuel Combier kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walter Boudet made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Gobillot in the 51st minute of play forced Choisel's goalkeeper Hervé Colpaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Émile Chênot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hervé Colpaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Walter Boudet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Choisel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geneuille the free kick. A collision led to Choisel getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Walter Boudet hit a great ball. Mounir Maille made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Boudet in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Manuel Combier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Isaac Harel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Geneuille's Mounir Maille didn't even have to move. Matheo Launay took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mounir Maille. Mounir Maille dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Walter Boudet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geneuille's Émile Chênot got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cyrille Radet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Mounir Maille when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Walter Boudet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mounir Maille read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. When Choisel's Walter Boudet in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Geneuille's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st match minute, Geneuille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominique Tresor to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 82 in the game by Cyrille Radet from a close distance when the talented Mounir Maille managed to make a qualified save. Geneuille's players were relieved. Mounir Maille made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyrille Radet in the 86th minute. If Walter Boudet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Émile Chênot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hervé Colpaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Émile Chênot in the 96th minute of play.
