Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Carvin's Henri Sy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michel Gustin took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Vie. Valentin Vie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Lorenzo Fauchet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxime Carlin during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Englos getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Maxime Carlin hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Jean-Marie Fromont sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hubert Fouilleul skillfully saved the ball. Michel Gustin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Englos's Hubert Fouilleul got control of the ball when Lorenzo Fauchet tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Henri Sy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25thth minute of the game Henri Sy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Englos's Hubert Fouilleul was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Englos's Alix Prin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Vie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alix Prin struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Valentin Vie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Englos. After having played for 36 minutes, Alix Prin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Englos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alix Prin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hubert Fouilleul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri Sy in the 38th minute of the match. Lorenzo Fauchet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Hubert Fouilleul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenzo Fauchet had several of the Englos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Hubert Fouilleul as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alix Prin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Carvin's Bruno Pupin got a free kick in the 56th minute. Alix Prin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Gustin got free with Valentin Vie in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 played minutes Carvin got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Pupin. After having played for 74 minutes, Lorenzo Fauchet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carvin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Fauchet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alix Prin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Vie having to make a save. In the 77th minute Michel Gustin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Vie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Gustin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Valentin Vie made a huge save. Valentin Vie made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Michel Gustin sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Englos's Alix Prin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valentin Vie. Valentin Vie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Carvin's goalkeeper Valentin Vie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernard Bayet charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernard Bayet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Englos got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Bayet. After 96 minutes, Sylvain Krawczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carvin and the Englos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carvin's Sylvain Krawczyk got a free kick in the 96th minute.
