Montières's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruce Moureau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steven Christen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the game, Montières's Bruce Moureau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Steven Christen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Mohamed Chaubet was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Castellar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Montières:s goal. Steven Christen went to the wrong direction when Anatole Lallement was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Steve Le Priol kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match Anatole Lallement sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steven Christen skillfully saved the ball. If Gameiro Le Garrec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bruce Moureau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Montières's Noé Borg got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Raphaël Untereiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Plazanet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steven Christen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gameiro Le Garrec in the 41st minute of play. Gameiro Le Garrec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Castellar getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Raphaël Untereiner hit a great ball. Montières's Gameiro Le Garrec got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Castellar got a freekick which was hit by Raphaël Untereiner. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gameiro Le Garrec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jean-Michel Cagnon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Mathias Lozano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castellar's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Lozano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A nice corner shot did that Anatole Lallement got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Steven Christen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bruce Moureau struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Steven Christen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montières. Hubert Plazanet made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Jean-Michel Cagnon sent off a good shot on target. Steven Christen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruce Moureau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 77 minutes, Gameiro Le Garrec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montières's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gameiro Le Garrec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Montières's zone, Mathias Lozano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Plazanet came out of the goal and Mathias Lozano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean-Michel Cagnon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Hubert Plazanet 83 minutes into the match. Jean-Michel Cagnon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gameiro Le Garrec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Montières's Gameiro Le Garrec got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Castellar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
