Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Billy Cazaux came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Carency fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Cazaux couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Billy Cazaux took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Octave Ardoin to make any attempt to save it. Yohann Malot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Berrier having to interfere. Carency's Vivien Verneuil got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerald Berrier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yohann Malot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vivien Verneuil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute, Billy Cazaux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Billy Cazaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octave Ardoin having to interfere. Vivien Verneuil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Octave Ardoin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 38 played minutes, Carency's Eric Nouaille shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Octave Ardoin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carency reached it. If Billy Cazaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vivien Verneuil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Cazaux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octave Ardoin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Billy Cazaux was the one to do the kick off. When Jean-Baptiste Hervy fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Courçay's protests and gave Jean-Baptiste Hervy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Courçay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Baptiste Hervy to maneuver through the defense. Michel Mary lost his temper 59 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vivien Verneuil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Octave Ardoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aurelien Baraton fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carency's protests and gave Aurelien Baraton a yellow card for diving instead. Aurelien Baraton kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Vivien Verneuil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carency's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivien Verneuil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octave Ardoin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Courçay's zone, Renan Messager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octave Ardoin came out of the goal and Renan Messager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerald Berrier made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Yohann Malot sent off a good shot on target. Carency were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Courçay for a fine match.
