The Caliorne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thibaut Risser should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Désiré Bidot in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thibaut Risser saved Caliorne from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Montaudran's goal looked a bit too open when Gustave Azemar came free, but Kylian Bourgon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gustave Azemar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kylian Bourgon was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Désiré Bidot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thibaut Risser was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Gustave Azemar took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Kylian Bourgon to make any attempt to save it. Désiré Bidot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Thibaut Risser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Franck Roblot struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Thibaut Risser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montaudran. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camille Pennec during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Montaudran's Camille Pennec got a free kick in the 64th minute. Caliorne's Davy Bonnefon got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Enzo Decourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kylian Bourgon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustave Azemar, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 81 minutes in the game, Désiré Bidot fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Thibaut Risser having to interfere. Thibaut Risser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franck Roblot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustave Azemar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kylian Bourgon having to interfere. When Désiré Bidot came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Montaudran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Désiré Bidot couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Caliorne fans cheered their team off the field, for while Montaudran had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
