The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Moineville getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregoire Bonin in the 7th minute of play forced Milhaud's goalkeeper Richard Pellat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aime Ouvrard might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Pellat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aime Ouvrard ran back to his position shaking his head. Richard Pellat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aime Ouvrard, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Aime Ouvrard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Richard Pellat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aime Ouvrard scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Pellat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Gregoire Bonin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moineville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milhaud the free kick. A collision led to Moineville getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Moineville's Karl Hennebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Antoine Ropars in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Milhaud booed when Moineville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordy Autier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samy Roca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aime Ouvrard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pierre-Antoine Ropars made a kick off. Mathis Loaec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Pellat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Richard Pellat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathis Loaec in the 57th minute of the match. Richard Pellat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moineville. In the 79th minute, Milhaud's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aime Ouvrard fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Moineville:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Milhaud:s goal. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
