Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leonard Hoff made the kick off and thus started the match. Charlie Giusti kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, Communay's Felix Villeger got control of the ball when Faouzi Mahu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Communay's zone, Yvan Audinet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Villeger came out of the goal and Yvan Audinet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faouzi Mahu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Felix Villeger made a huge save. Jarod Labarre hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Yvan Audinet came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Vallières fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yvan Audinet couldn't finish the play. Faouzi Mahus short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Felix Villeger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Faouzi Mahu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Felix Villeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Villeger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yvan Audinet in the 25th minute of play. Felix Villeger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yvan Audinet, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Herve Langlais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Hoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Villeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yvan Audinet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Jarod Labarre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Pinaud was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yvan Audinet was the one to do the kick off. Edgard Pinaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Hoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 58th minute, Leonard Hoff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Communay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Communay getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Yves Delpuech hit a great ball. Vallières's Prosper Lerch got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Villeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yvan Audinet in the 65th minute of the match. Yvan Audinet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Felix Villeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonard Hoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herve Langlais scored 0-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgard Pinaud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 minutes, Gabriel Audibert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Communay and the Vallières players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Faouzi Mahu came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Vallières fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faouzi Mahu couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Communay's Leonard Hoff ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgard Pinaud. Edgard Pinaud yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Yvan Audinet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Felix Villeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
