After 28 played minutes Hyères got a freekick which was hit by Gregory Lacam. Octave Schaub didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. With a little luck, Hyères's Octave Schaub got control of the ball when Jean-François Gruet tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Constantin Bion fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hyères's protests and gave Constantin Bion a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hyères's Constantin Bion got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Rinaldi in the 39th minute of play forced Castelginest's goalkeeper Dilan Pamphile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Castelginest's Gaston Harmand ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Octave Schaub. Octave Schaub yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When Castelginest's Gaston Harmand in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hyères's goalie prevented a goal. Constantin Bion hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Jean-François Césaire shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octave Schaub showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Constantin Bion struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Dilan Pamphile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hyères. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 68th minute, but Dilan Pamphile got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Castelginest hanging dry this time. With a little luck, Castelginest's Dilan Pamphile got control of the ball when Gregory Lacam tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Constantin Rinaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dilan Pamphile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Rinaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octave Schaub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-François Gruet, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 75 played minutes Hyères got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Rose. Constantin Rinaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dilan Pamphile having to interfere. Moïse Barillot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Octave Schaub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Castelginest fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hyères had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
