Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arnaud Pacheco made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Vétraz's goal looked a bit too open when Jérôme Belle came free, but Gaspard Grail reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Malataverne getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Nolan Paolini hit a great ball. Alex Gabriel was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Arnaud Pacheco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnaud Pacheco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jérôme Belle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jérôme Belle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gaspard Grail tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Christian Varnier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malataverne's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Varnier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspard Grail breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Malataverne booed when Vétraz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felicien Willem didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jérôme Belle came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Malataverne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jérôme Belle couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Vétraz's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Varnier came free, but Gaspard Grail reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthieu Durand hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Vétraz's Jules Clavier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Gabriel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Arnaud Pacheco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alex Gabriel came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaud Pacheco slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 30th minute. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Arnaud Pacheco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Jules Clavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaud Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jules Clavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Alex Gabriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Vétraz's Arnaud Pacheco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Gabriel. Alex Gabriel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Varnier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alex Gabriel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaud Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jules Clavier struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Alex Gabriel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vétraz. Jérôme Belle might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspard Grail. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jérôme Belle ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Felicien Willem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Christian Varnier rounded Vétraz's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-1. Robin Chalet kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Fabrice Montoya shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Gabriel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gaspard Grail stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jérôme Belle's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After 82 minutes, Jimmy Derville mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malataverne and the Vétraz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, one of Malataverne:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Malataverne. Daryl Coureau hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Matthieu Durand hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Vétraz's Fabrice Montoya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Gabriel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Jérôme Belle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vétraz fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malataverne had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
