Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cyrille Le Cornec took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pierre-Henri Moya struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Melvin Escudero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puits. When Pierre-Henri Moya came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Puits fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Henri Moya couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pierre-Henri Moya kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melvin Escudero. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Pierre-Henri Moya got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Cyrille Le Cornec fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bourrelière's protests and gave Cyrille Le Cornec a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Bourrelière got a freekick which was hit by Cyrille Le Cornec. Bourrelière's Titouan Boucaud couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Puits. Karl Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pierre-Henri Moya was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Puits's goal looked a bit too open when Cyrille Le Cornec came free, but Djimmy Bernadet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Puits's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Karl Navarro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Puits booed when Bourrelière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yves Zimmermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Pierre-Henri Moya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melvin Escudero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Djimmy Bernadet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrille Le Cornec, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melvin Escudero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 played minutes, Puits's Hector Nicoli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melvin Escudero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Puits reached it. If Pierre-Henri Moya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl Navarro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Djimmy Bernadet made a huge save. After 91 minutes of play Puits's Marius Leignel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 92nd minute, Marius Leignel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melvin Escudero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislas Bruyant, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Puits's Stanislas Bruyant nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melvin Escudero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.
