Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Thibaut Philippart made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Victor Bulteau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Dubas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 13 minutes, Maurice Paviot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canteranes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurice Paviot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geoffrey Monnerie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eric Dubas having to make a save. In the 17th minute of the match, Maurice Paviot got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oscar Coutand was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 23rd minute of the match Canteranes got a corner. Paillade's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bixente Rios ran over to the corner to take the kick. Geoffrey Monnerie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Eric Dubas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes, Paillade's Malik Robin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eric Dubas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paillade reached it. Geoffrey Monnerie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eric Dubas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Canteranes's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Bulteau came free, but Eric Dubas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Dubas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Bulteau in the 41st minute of the match. Maurice Paviot struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Oscar Coutand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canteranes. 45 minutes into the game, Bertrand Lavallee was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canteranes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paillade the free kick. After a rather tough play, Canteranes's Bertrand Lavallee got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Bulteau made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Malik Robin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Canteranes's Eric Dubas didn't even have to move. Eric Dubas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Bulteau in the 60th minute of the match. When Frederic Guerrier fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canteranes's protests and gave Frederic Guerrier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Frederic Guerrier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geoffrey Monnerie might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Dubas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geoffrey Monnerie ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Paillade's zone, Maurice Paviot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Coutand came out of the goal and Maurice Paviot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Paillade's goal looked a bit too open when Thibaut Philippart came free, but Oscar Coutand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geoffrey Monnerie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Dubas having to interfere. Maurice Paviot struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Oscar Coutand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canteranes. If Geoffrey Monnerie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Paillade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Guery to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Canteranes's Bixente Rios tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Paillade walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
