The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamid Bucher in the 8th minute of play forced Mennecy's goalkeeper Paulo Salingue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pradon's Bernard Bonnefon got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Jérémy Gorce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Salingue was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Paulo Salingue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jérémy Gorce in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brice Mars in the 21st minute of play forced Pradon's goalkeeper Nelson Chevron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabien Ryckewaert's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Nelson Chevron skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Mennecy's Rudy Labarrere got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Pradon's Hamid Bucher in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mennecy's goalie prevented a goal. When Clovis Welter came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Pradon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clovis Welter couldn't finish the play. If Hamid Bucher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brice Mars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nelson Chevron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jérémy Gorce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Pradon were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Mennecy's Brice Mars sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nelson Chevron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bacary Cluzeau charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bacary Cluzeau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th match minute, Pradon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bacary Cluzeau to maneuver through the defense. If Fabien Ryckewaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Manuel Trognon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pradon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mennecy the free kick. The referee gave Mennecy a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ahmid Caubet, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pradon's Nelson Chevron. 1-1. Nelson Chevron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabien Ryckewaert in the 65th minute of the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Brice Mars who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pradon's Nelson Chevron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nelson Chevron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabien Ryckewaert in the 70th minute of play. Fabien Ryckewaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Salingue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamid Bucher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Beaupere hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Pradon's Hamid Bucher got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Boris Beaupere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mennecy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pradon the free kick. A collision led to Mennecy getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Boris Beaupere hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Pradon's Hamid Bucher slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Salingue. That made the score 1-2 after 89 minutes of play. Mennecy's Paulo Salingue proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Mennecy from getting a goal against them. When Jérémy Gorce came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Pradon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jérémy Gorce couldn't finish the play. If Hamid Bucher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pradon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
