The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacques Degrave got free with Alban Cavalie in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tim Walker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Germain Vanel in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joffrey Creusot saved Villabé from getting behind. Adam Laffon kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Germain Vanel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tim Walker in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alban Cavalie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joffrey Creusot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damien Boone, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jacques Degrave recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Louison Bonnafous charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Louison Bonnafous the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Louison Bonnafous kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Tim Walker, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alban Cavalie was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 41 minutes of play, Valleroy's Germain Vanel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joffrey Creusot was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Villabé booed when Valleroy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damien Boone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacques Degrave fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alban Cavalie having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tim Walker was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Tony Frechou shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alban Cavalie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tim Walker struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Alban Cavalie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villabé. Alban Cavalie didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Villabé's Tim Walker shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 80 played minutes Valleroy got a freekick which was hit by Louison Bonnafous. In the 82nd minute, Tim Walker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damien Boone hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacques Degrave in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Valleroy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Villabé.
