In the 3rd minute Luka Guillier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alban Cavalie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valleroy's Alban Cavalie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Élie Clipet in the 4th minute of play. Alban Cavalie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Guillier, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Alban Cavalie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfried Decaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Élie Clipet put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alban Cavalie. Ferdinand Filippini was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Michel Lenormand. Wilfried Decaux hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Valleroy's Germain Vanel got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinand Filippini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Michel Schaeffer in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Jean-Michel Schaeffer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Filippini was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Jean-Michel Schaeffer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinand Filippini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Luka Guillier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean-Michel Schaeffer charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean-Michel Schaeffer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Valleroy getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jean-Michel Schaeffer hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Perenchies's zone, Germain Vanel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Filippini came out of the goal and Germain Vanel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claude Friedrich during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Valleroy got a freekick which was hit by Claude Friedrich. With a little luck, Valleroy's Alban Cavalie got control of the ball when Luka Guillier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perenchies's goalkeeper Ferdinand Filippini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Perenchies's Philibert Clarisse shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alban Cavalie but with some difficulty. 92 minutes into the match, Perenchies's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Michel Schaeffer came free, but Ferdinand Filippini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germain Vanel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Filippini having to interfere.
