Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Montmain's Arthur Lourme started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Montmain's Harry Vinchon got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tim Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Villabé's goalkeeper Joffrey Creusot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Granet. Joffrey Creusot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Lourme in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Jacques Degrave notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Montmain's Florentin Hallier. Florentin Hallier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tim Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Florentin Hallier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Tim Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villabé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Walker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Walker in the 25th minute of play forced Montmain's goalkeeper Florentin Hallier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emile Cantaloube sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jacques Degrave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jacques Degrave came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Villabé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacques Degrave couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the game, Tim Walker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Florentin Hallier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rene Audry might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentin Hallier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Audry ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Robin Granet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Joffrey Creusot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joffrey Creusot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Lourme in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Tony Frechou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Montmain's Mario Autret broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Emile Cantaloube managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montmain's supporters rose to their feet, but Emile Cantaloube was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joffrey Creusot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joffrey Creusot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Lourme, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Tony Frechou hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Robin Granet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacques Degrave took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florentin Hallier. Florentin Hallier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Adam Laffon charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Laffon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Villabé's Adam Laffon got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Arthur Lourme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joffrey Creusot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentin Hallier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Walker in the 85th minute of play. If Tim Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Montmain's Florentin Hallier got control of the ball when Jacques Degrave tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harry Vinchon's late challenge caught a Villabé's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Vinchon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Montmain's Harry Vinchon got a free kick in the 96th minute.
