An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabien Provot in the 7th minute of play forced Hocron's goalkeeper Pierre-Louis Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Alix got free with Gabin Augereau in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Marc Alix got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gabin Augereau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aymerick Hémon in the 33rd minute of play. Marc Alix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabin Augereau having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Hassan Jourda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hassan Jourda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The goalkeeper, Gabin Augereau, was totally fooled by Hocron's Dave Male, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aymerick Hémon made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hassan Jourda got free with Pierre-Louis Lucas in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabien Provot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Louis Lucas having to interfere. When Pascal Barthélémy fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hocron's protests and gave Pascal Barthélémy a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hocron's Pascal Barthélémy got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Gallice's Fabien Provot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pierre-Louis Lucas. Pierre-Louis Lucas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Marc Alix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabin Augereau having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Gallice got a freekick which was hit by Guy Têtu. The Gallice fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Gallice's Hassan Jourda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 83 played minutes Hocron got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Barthélémy. 85 minutes into the game, Hassan Jourda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Pierre-Louis Lucas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabien Provot in the 88th minute of play forced Hocron's goalkeeper Pierre-Louis Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre-Louis Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Provot, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Hassan Jourda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Gallice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gallice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
