Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Quinsac's Gildas Carre started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Toufik Parage struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Boris Giraudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Daix. 5 minutes into the game, Gildas Carre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pierre-Emmanuel Petre. Gildas Carre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Toufik Parage managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daix's supporters rose to their feet, but Toufik Parage was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Giraudo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daix's Pierre-Emmanuel Petre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Daix from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Quinsac's zone, Toufik Parage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Giraudo came out of the goal and Toufik Parage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louis Cadart kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Quinsac's Jean-Michel Horel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Raymond Giordanengo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gildas Carre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Pierre-Emmanuel Petre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gildas Carre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th match minute, Daix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannick Sibille to maneuver through the defense. Pierre-Emmanuel Petre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildas Carre in the 32nd minute of play. After 37 played minutes Quinsac got a freekick which was hit by Hamid Grenard. Pierre Schaal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Boris Giraudo. Quinsac's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pierre Schaal during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Quinsac booed when Daix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Schaal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Quinsac were awarded a corner. Jean-Michel Horel went to the cornerflag to take it. When Hamid Grenard fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quinsac's protests and gave Hamid Grenard a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Quinsac getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hamid Grenard hit a great ball. Billy Cambray struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Boris Giraudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Daix. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toufik Parage to strike the kick off in the second half. Billy Cambray hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Raymond Giordanengo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Emmanuel Petre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quinsac's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Toufik Parage scored to the left of an out of position Boris Giraudo, making the score, 1-1. With a little luck, Quinsac's Boris Giraudo got control of the ball when Billy Cambray tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Raymond Giordanengo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierre-Emmanuel Petre was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Brillant during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. José Brillant hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Billy Cambray fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Merlin Chabas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Pierre Schaal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Quinsac's Boris Giraudo didn't even have to move. If Billy Cambray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Toufik Parage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Toufik Parage's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boris Giraudo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
