Merlin Georg scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alix Lamotte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robert Lechevallier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marin Fourny read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Alix Lamotte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Bisch in the 20th minute of the match. Marignane's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Luis Blay scored to the left of an out of position Marin Fourny, making the score, 1-1. Alix Lamotte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Bisch, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Terry Lamouret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Fourny having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Jackson Duponchel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marignane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jackson Duponchel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Marignane getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Merlin Georg hit a great ball. If Robert Lechevallier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Theo Bisch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alix Lamotte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Luis Blay struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Marin Fourny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velotte. Jackson Duponchel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Velotte's Luis Blay got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Theo Bisch to strike the kick off in the second half. Velotte's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Theo Bisch 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Jackson Duponchel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alix Lamotte having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Velotte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentin Rollot to maneuver through the defense. If Florentin Rollot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Velotte's Robert Lechevallier in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marignane's goalie prevented a goal. Marignane's Marin Fourny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Lechevallier in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th minute Robert Lechevallier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Fourny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jackson Duponchel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alix Lamotte having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Velotte's goalkeeper Alix Lamotte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jackson Duponchel. If Theo Bisch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theo Bisch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Velotte supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marignane's performance. The match ended with a win for Marignane.
