Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Carton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sacha Godineau, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A hard shot by Manuel Delpeuch from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Joey Hugues's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 10th minute, Cheikh Carles fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A hard shot 16 in the game by Cheikh Carles from a close distance when the talented Joey Hugues managed to make a qualified save. Plagne's players were relieved. Manuel Carton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sacha Godineau, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Sébastian Réal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Destrousse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plagne the free kick. A collision led to Destrousse getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Abdel Migeon charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdel Migeon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manuel Carton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Plouzennec in the 22nd minute of the match. Sacha Godineau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Manuel Carton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Alphonse Souche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sacha Godineau to make the kick off. Sacha Godineau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Cheikh Carles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thierry Douchin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Joey Hugues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, Destrousse's Cheikh Carles made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joey Hugues was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thierry Douchin hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Sacha Godineau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Carton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sacha Godineau in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Douchin in the 73rd minute of play forced Plagne's goalkeeper Joey Hugues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cheikh Carles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moussa Albouy hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sacha Godineau kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Carton. That made the score 1-4 in the 89 minute of play. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Destrousse's goalkeeper Manuel Carton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Plagne's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
