Clément Carlos's late challenge caught a Authie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clément Carlos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Chesnay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félicien Moisson to maneuver through the defense. Adam Seguret blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Malcom Brousseau having to make a save. After 41 played minutes Adam Seguret rounded Chesnay's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Chesnay's Charles-Henri Dehaye got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Seguret made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Adam Seguret who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chesnay's Malcom Brousseau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 53rd minute Adam Seguret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcom Brousseau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Seguret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcom Brousseau having to interfere.
