Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabien Barbereau started the match with the kick off. Tim Defay's late challenge caught a Tours's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Defay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavernes's goalkeeper Rachid Moureaux, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tanguy Keller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renaud Lussiez in the 8th minute of the match. Rachid Moureaux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Paul Cunin in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Cavernes getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Olivier Campion hit a great ball. Hugues Lacour took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rachid Moureaux. Cavernes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rachid Moureaux stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabien Barbereau's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Fabien Barbereau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Moureaux having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Xavier Stevenin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olivier Campion kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Fabien Barbereau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rachid Moureaux was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. When Tours's Fabien Barbereau in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cavernes's goalie prevented a goal. Guillaume Schuh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renaud Lussiez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanguy Keller having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pierre Bénichou to make the kick off. Renaud Lussiez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renaud Lussiez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Tanguy Keller made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Guillaume Schuh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pierre Bénichou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes Tours got a freekick which was hit by Fabien Barbereau. When Guillaume Schuh fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tours's protests and gave Guillaume Schuh a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Tours was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Schuh to maneuver through the defense. Rachid Moureaux came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Tours's Fabien Barbereau. But to his dismay, Fabien Barbereau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cavernes's Rachid Moureaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Barbereau in the 74th minute of play. When Jacques Renucci fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavernes's protests and gave Jacques Renucci a yellow card for diving instead. 91 minutes into the game, one of Cavernes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jean-Paul Cunin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tours's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
