Gael Delpy hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Marc Bourrat notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Perrigny's Gregory Weber. Gregory Weber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Bourrat in the 10th minute of play forced Perrigny's goalkeeper Gregory Weber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes, Donatien Baby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Feyzin and the Perrigny players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Feyzin getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Donatien Baby hit a great ball. In the 18th match minute, Feyzin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Titouan Leprovost to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Feyzin defense, Louison Escaffre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Boissier. The Feyzin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinand Boissier should have stopped the shot. When Donatien Baby was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. In the 30th minute, Donatien Baby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Feyzin's Titouan Leprovost got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Jacob Rouquier sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Feyzin's Ferdinand Boissier didn't even have to move. In the 39th minute, Ilan Bedin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Feyzin booed when Perrigny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul-Henri Briant didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henri Bance to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Perrigny defense, Henri Bance kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregory Weber. The Perrigny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregory Weber should have stopped the shot. Louison Escaffre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Feyzin's Titouan Leprovost got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Feyzin's zone, Louison Escaffre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Boissier came out of the goal and Louison Escaffre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul-Henri Briant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ferdinand Boissier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul-Henri Briant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinand Boissier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Perrigny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gael Delpy to maneuver through the defense. Henri Bance received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gregory Weber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Feyzin's goal looked a bit too open when Paul-Henri Briant came free, but Ferdinand Boissier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Michael Joffroy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perrigny's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Joffroy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Boissier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Feyzin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
