Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Xavier Flory made the kick off which started today's match. Menton's Rémi Schwartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Flory in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Xavier Flory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rémi Schwartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Moretti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregory Weber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Gregory Weber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Malhomme, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Xavier Flory who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menton's Rémi Schwartz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Jimmy Moretti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmy Moretti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louison Escaffre in the 26th minute of play forced Menton's goalkeeper Rémi Schwartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Flory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rémi Schwartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Perrigny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gael Delpy to maneuver through the defense. Gregory Weber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Malhomme in the 39th minute of the match. Xavier Flory struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Rémi Schwartz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perrigny. Perrigny's Xavier Flory collided with an opponent after 46 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. When Gauthier Batlle fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menton's protests and gave Gauthier Batlle a yellow card for diving instead. Gauthier Batlle hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Rémi Schwartz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louison Escaffre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles Malhomme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Menton's Rémi Schwartz got control of the ball when Louison Escaffre tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Perrigny's Gael Delpy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rémi Schwartz. That made the score 0-1 after 63 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Malhomme in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregory Weber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Perrigny's Louison Escaffre got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Perrigny got a freekick which was hit by Salim Travers. Jimmy Moretti struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Gregory Weber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menton. After a rather tough play, Menton's Loïc Richert got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Jimmy Moretti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Malhomme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Weber having to interfere. Jimmy Moretti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregory Weber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Perrigny walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
