Brian Filhol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thierry Ferriere, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Matthieu Ader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yvan Dalmasso having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Alfred Castet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Brian Filhol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Johan Barbieri could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Yvan Dalmasso however easily saved by the left post. In the 35th minute Matthieu Ader shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yvan Dalmasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Johan Barbieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Corenc's Thierry Ferriere sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brian Filhol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Alfred Castet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfred Castet to make the kick off. Willy Garret kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Johan Barbieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yvan Dalmasso having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Matthieu Ader's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yvan Dalmasso was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Yvan Dalmasso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthieu Ader went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute Alfred Castet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Filhol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthieu Ader's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yvan Dalmasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Thierry Ferriere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Filhol having to interfere. Thierry Ferriere blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brian Filhol having to make a save. Matthieu Ader recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Johan Barbieri notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Corenc's Yvan Dalmasso. Yvan Dalmasso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Corenc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brégille.
