Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xavier Bauchet took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Pirey's goalkeeper Aime Delepine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bertrand Hérisson. 9 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Bordeaux's Donald Laumond fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 11th minute, Theodore Delhomme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patxi Garret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Bauchet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Pâquier kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Patxi Garret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Bauchet, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Pirey's goalkeeper Aime Delepine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donald Laumond. After a rather tough play, Pirey's Berenger Guillard got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Abraham Pâquier's late challenge caught a Pirey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abraham Pâquier helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pirey booed when Bordeaux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Pâquier didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Theodore Delhomme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Xavier Bauchet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirey's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Bauchet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patxi Garret breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulysse Bouland charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulysse Bouland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Ulysse Bouland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patxi Garret didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theodore Delhomme went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles-Emmanuel Graveleau to make the kick off. If Joachim Baille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patxi Garret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Bauchet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bordeaux's Joachim Baille got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute Xavier Bauchet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patxi Garret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles-Emmanuel Graveleau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aime Delepine having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Pirey's zone, Donald Laumond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aime Delepine came out of the goal and Donald Laumond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donald Laumond might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aime Delepine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donald Laumond ran back to his position shaking his head. If Charles-Emmanuel Graveleau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abraham Pâquier hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Theodore Delhomme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patxi Garret was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 82 minutes into the game, Guy Burgaud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirey's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bordeaux the free kick. Guy Burgaud kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Donald Laumond cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aime Delepine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 89 minutes, Abraham Pâquier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bordeaux's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Pâquier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Guy Burgaud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Pirey supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pirey would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
