If Tristan Gaborit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ange Pissot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Liogier having to interfere. When Dunkerque's Ange Pissot in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vayres's goalie prevented a goal. Tristan Gaborit received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roger Liogier came out and tried to block the shot, but Tristan Gaborit slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Vouillon in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck René Garrigou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. René Garrigou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didier Jadot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martial Kowalski during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Dunkerque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martial Kowalski to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Didier Jadot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vayres's supporters rose to their feet, but Didier Jadot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. René Garrigou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Liogier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ange Pissot in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Renaud Schneider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A very nice done corner allowed Jacob Mottier to score against Roger Liogier in Vayres's goal. 3-0 after 47 minutes. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when David Vouillon made the kick off in the second half. Tristan Gaborit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Roger Liogier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Didier Jadot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Garrigou having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Tristan Gaborit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunkerque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tristan Gaborit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tristan Gaborit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Roger Liogier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that David Vouillon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but René Garrigou was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Tristan Gaborit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Liogier having to interfere. Vayres's Roger Liogier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ange Pissot in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Vayres booed when Dunkerque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Delobel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If David Vouillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Delobel got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Rodrigo Delobel hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
