David Vouillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nathan Couzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nathan Couzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didier Jadot in the 11th minute of the match. Pierre-Olivier Servel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joël Houssaye charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joël Houssaye the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute David Vouillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Couzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vayres's zone, Eddy Fraysse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Liogier came out of the goal and Eddy Fraysse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pierre-Olivier Servel came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Prenay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Olivier Servel couldn't finish the play. In the 47thth minute of the game Pierre-Olivier Servel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vayres's Roger Liogier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 52 minutes of play, Prenay's Joël Houssaye made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Liogier was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute Pierre-Olivier Servel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Liogier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Didier Jadot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nathan Couzon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Nathan Couzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didier Jadot in the 66th minute of the match. If Didier Jadot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Prenay's goal looked a bit too open when Didier Jadot came free, but Nathan Couzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pierre-Olivier Servel came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Prenay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Olivier Servel couldn't finish the play. Felix Lambolez kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Vayres's Roger Liogier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Vayres from getting a goal against them. Didier Jadot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Couzon having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Prenay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
