Christophe Richer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Bassot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christophe Richer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Bassot in the 8th minute of play. Victor Bassot took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christophe Richer. Christophe Richer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Claude Caillaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bouscat booed when Gaillard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teddy Pinel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Andraud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Thouin's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Victor Bassot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christophe Richer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prosper Courtecuisse in the 31st minute of the match. If Claude Caillaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Bassot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claude Caillaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Richer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Bassot in the 39th minute of play forced Bouscat's goalkeeper Christophe Richer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Bassot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Richer having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Bassot in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christophe Richer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Bouscat's Benoit Gremy got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Christophe Richer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Bassot in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Gaillard were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 55 minutes Bouscat's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joris Boinot who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Prosper Courtecuisse managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 58 minutes into the game, Benoit Gremy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bouscat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaillard the free kick. In the 58th match minute, Bouscat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benoit Gremy to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Bouscat's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Bassot came free, but Christophe Richer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Bassot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Richer having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Paul-Henri Havard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcel Andraud was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christophe Richer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Bassot, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Thouin in the 72nd minute of play forced Gaillard's goalkeeper Marcel Andraud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Humez hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Victor Bassot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bouscat's Christophe Richer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Bouscat from getting a goal against them. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
