Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mède's Alfred Gard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Théophile Canard got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Alain Erb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alain Erb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Barrade's goal looked a bit too open when Alain Erb came free, but Fernand Geneix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barrade's Fernand Geneix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alain Erb in the 15th minute of play. Fernand Geneix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Gard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djimmy Oberle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernand Geneix. Barrade's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fernand Geneix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alain Erb's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Jean-Marie Le Ruyet made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Octave Perrotte sent off a good shot on target. Barrade's Joël Cancel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The corner ended in Morgan Le Rolland almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barrade's Fernand Geneix did a great save. Octave Perrotte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Marie Le Ruyet having to interfere. Joël Cancel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Gard in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernand Geneix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barrade's Fernand Geneix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Gard in the 40th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Mède getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alexandre Raud hit a great ball. If Alfred Gard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alain Erb's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Fernand Geneix skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Barrade's Fernand Geneix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Gard in the 71st minute of play. With his leg Fernand Geneix managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Mède's Alain Erb fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jean-Marie Le Ruyet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octave Perrotte in the 92nd minute of the match. Jean-Marie Le Ruyet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joël Cancel, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
