In the 3rd match minute, Barrade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John-David Liberge to maneuver through the defense. Abdel Bondon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Fernand Geneix when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sylvain Barros in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernand Geneix saved Barrade from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joël Cancel during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Barrade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joël Cancel to maneuver through the defense. Hamza Adèle kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octave Perrotte in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Brenier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florian Brenier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joël Cancel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joël Cancel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joël Cancel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrade's Octave Perrotte got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Rochecorbon's goal looked a bit too open when Joël Cancel came free, but Florian Brenier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sacha Gonneau charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sacha Gonneau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barrade booed when Rochecorbon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacha Gonneau didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octave Perrotte in the 38th minute of play forced Rochecorbon's goalkeeper Florian Brenier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joël Cancel to strike the kick off in the second half. Florian Brenier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joël Cancel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octave Perrotte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Florian Brenier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rochecorbon's Abdel Bondon got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 72 minutes, Abdel Bondon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rochecorbon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdel Bondon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Théophile Canard kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Fernand Geneix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylvain Barros in the 81st minute of the match. If Abdel Bondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octave Perrotte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Brenier having to interfere. Joël Cancel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Brenier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Sylvain Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fernand Geneix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
