Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jean-François Fichot kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Mornex's Charlie Barbat got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Jean-François Fichot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mornex's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-François Fichot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anatole Lorrain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Charles-Henri Benoist made a huge save. After 24 minutes, Hector Balland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kerziou and the Mornex players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mornex booed when Kerziou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Balland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ewan Dufort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samir Favreau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Kerziou's zone, Anatole Lorrain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles-Henri Benoist came out of the goal and Anatole Lorrain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 minutes, Charlie Barbat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mornex and the Kerziou players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Mornex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Barbat to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Samir Favreau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewan Dufort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Mornex's Anatole Lorrain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles-Henri Benoist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Joël Declerck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joël Declerck to make the kick off. Samir Favreau who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Ewan Dufort when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mornex's Ewan Dufort proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Mornex from getting a goal against them. Mornex's Ewan Dufort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joël Declerck in the 60th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samir Favreau got free with Ewan Dufort in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Jean-François Fichot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles-Henri Benoist. Kerziou's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-François Fichot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ewan Dufort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joël Declerck in the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jean-François Fichot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mornex's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-François Fichot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles-Henri Benoist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kerziou's goalkeeper Charles-Henri Benoist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mornex's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
