After 6 minutes of play, Férin's Mustapha Hochet made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cyprien Bridoux was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Steevy Adolphe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Férin's supporters rose to their feet, but Steevy Adolphe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyprien Bridoux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, Cyril Leboulanger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Férin the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Cers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyril Leboulanger to maneuver through the defense. Steevy Adolphe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cyprien Bridoux read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Toufik Lequeux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cyprien Bridoux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Cyril Leboulanger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurent Crenn in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Giraudo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 48 minutes, Ryan Azema managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan Azema was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 62 minutes, Moussa Langlade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Férin and the Cers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Férin's Moussa Langlade got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Laurent Crenn put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Axel Giraudo. Axel Giraudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurent Crenn in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Azema in the 70th minute of play forced Férin's goalkeeper Axel Giraudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ryan Azema came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Cers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan Azema couldn't finish the play. Laurent Crenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes of play, Cers's Ryan Azema made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steevy Adolphe did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Cyprien Bridoux 87 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steevy Adolphe got free with Cyprien Bridoux in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laurent Crenn took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Axel Giraudo. Axel Giraudo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Férin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
