When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Daveau made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, John Daveau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canton's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Daveau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theo Sautron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gilles Delacour charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilles Delacour the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, Canton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilles Delacour to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Mulatière got a corner. Canton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augustin Payan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gaétan Goyon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toufik Oster, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jean-Paul Le Marchand made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Theo Sautron sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Canton's goal looked a bit too open when Toufik Oster came free, but Gaétan Goyon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game John Daveau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mulatière's Jean-Paul Le Marchand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaétan Goyon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilan Kayser in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toufik Oster in the 78th minute of play forced Canton's goalkeeper Gaétan Goyon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Ilan Kayser left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mulatière fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Sacha Ott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Canton players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mulatière from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
