Noa Binet kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Theo Sautron struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Lucas Tardivel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canton. After some careless play in the Courneuve defense, Theo Sautron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Tardivel. The Courneuve fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Tardivel should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Barthélémy Neyret got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Daveau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Lucas Tardivel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc-Olivier Battini hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Lucas Tardivel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Daveau in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Courneuve booed when Canton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilles Delacour didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thibault Mur, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gérald Ledroit hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A collision led to Courneuve getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Désiré Giffard hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Frédéric Léon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canton's supporters rose to their feet, but Frédéric Léon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Tardivel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Theo Sautron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44thth minute of the game John Daveau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Courneuve's Lucas Tardivel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaétan Goyon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Tricoire, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Courneuve players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Canton were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Igor Tricoire made the kick off in the second half. Lucas Tardivel made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Theo Sautron sent off a good shot on target. Barthélémy Neyret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaétan Goyon having to interfere. 59 minutes in the game, John Daveau fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lucas Tardivel having to interfere. Theo Sautron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Tardivel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. A hard shot 66 in the game by Theo Sautron from a close distance when the talented Lucas Tardivel managed to make a qualified save. Courneuve's players were relieved. Barthélémy Neyret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 71 minutes, Igor Tricoire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Courneuve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Tricoire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaétan Goyon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Tricoire in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Canton booed when Courneuve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc-Olivier Battini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Canton's Frédéric Léon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucas Tardivel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 84th minute, Noa Binet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
