Jean-Christophe Lamblin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Charleux having to interfere. In the 9th minute Arthur Ayrault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Charleux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Anthony Rabier made a precise shot to the right of Yann Bauduin. Frouville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Eliott Lanteri hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Pierre Berteloot, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Yann Bauduin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Félicien Godet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Félicien Godet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yann Bauduin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Charleux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Christophe Lamblin, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Yann Bauduin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Félicien Godet in the 35th minute of the match. If Anthony Rabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre Berteloot kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-Christophe Lamblin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Michael Boiteau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frouville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kernisi the free kick. After 52 played minutes Frouville got a freekick which was hit by Michael Boiteau. Carl Charleux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Christophe Lamblin in the 54th minute of the match. Yann Bauduin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kader Jaillet's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Félicien Godet scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yann Bauduin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frouville's goalkeeper Yann Bauduin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Frouville's Carl Charleux threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jean-Christophe Lamblin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Anthony Rabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthony Rabier struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Yann Bauduin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kernisi. After a rather tough play, Frouville's Jordy Schroeder got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
