Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jean-Christophe Lamblin made the kick off which started today's match. When Jean-Christophe Lamblin came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Frouville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Christophe Lamblin couldn't finish the play. Jean-Charles Rapin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Christophe Lamblin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Christophe Lamblin in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Charles Rapin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joris Guilloux kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Jean-Christophe Lamblin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute of the match, Sam Nicolai tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yann Bauduin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jean-Charles Rapin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Ayrault, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Frouville's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Sam Nicolai scored to the left of an out of position Yann Bauduin, making the score, 1-0. Yann Bauduin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Nicolai, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Jean-Christophe Lamblin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frouville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Christophe Lamblin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jean-Christophe Lamblin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Christophe Lamblin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th play minute Damien Denis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yann Bauduin. 2-0. Sam Nicolai struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Yann Bauduin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carpiquet. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sam Nicolai to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Damien Denis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damien Denis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Yann Bauduin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Frouville booed when Carpiquet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaut Carlot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sam Nicolai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Sam Nicolai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77thth minute of the game Sam Nicolai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frouville's Yann Bauduin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yann Bauduin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Nicolai, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 89th minute, Romain Cadeau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Gharbi shot from long distance in the 91st minute, but Jean-Charles Rapin was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 94 minutes into the match, Sam Nicolai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yann Bauduin. Frouville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sam Nicolai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Frouville players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carpiquet.
