The supporters of Roubaix booed when Bédarrides was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adil Coat didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Roubaix's Benjamin Cuvillier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prosper Louison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Benjamin Cuvillier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Prosper Louison made a huge save. Robin Filoche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robin Filoche made a kick off. Prosper Louison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Cuvillier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Benjamin Cuvillier came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Roubaix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Cuvillier couldn't finish the play. Prosper Louison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Filoche in the 63rd minute of the match. Bédarrides's Prosper Louison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Cuvillier in the 64th minute of play. Djimmy Gouet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascal Fauveau's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Bédarrides's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arnaud Thiery's late challenge caught a Roubaix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaud Thiery helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Roubaix booed when Bédarrides was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Djimmy Gouet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascal Fauveau went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
