Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Villemanoche's Jacob Alfred started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rixheim's goalkeeper Danny Dervaux, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Danny Dervaux managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Villemanoche's Charles-Henri Raguin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Rixheim booed when Villemanoche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christophe Carel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pierre-Louis Stéphan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barthélémy Badiou made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danny Dervaux prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charles-Henri Raguin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Rixheim got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Prévost. Pierre-Louis Stéphan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes Barthélémy Badiou rounded Villemanoche's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Luc Le Bohec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jocelyn Auffret made a huge save. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Villemanoche's goalkeeper Jocelyn Auffret, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Luc Le Bohec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Marcel Ventura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
