Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Villemanoche's Jacob Alfred started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Charles-Henri Raguin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Bardelle's Jocelyn Auffret threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kilian Diard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kilian Diard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jocelyn Auffret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Duquesnoy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Jocelyn Auffret skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 11 minutes into the match, Bardelle's goal looked a bit too open when Charles-Henri Raguin came free, but Yazid Poix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kilian Diard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacob Alfred in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yazid Poix saved Bardelle from getting behind. When Villemanoche's Jacob Alfred in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bardelle's goalie prevented a goal. Charles-Henri Raguin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Poix having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Paulo Duquesnoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bardelle's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Duquesnoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jocelyn Auffret breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th match minute, Villemanoche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christophe Carel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 37 minutes, Kilian Diard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bardelle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kilian Diard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Duquesnoy hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Charles-Henri Raguin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villemanoche fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kilian Diard was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Kilian Diard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bardelle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kilian Diard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacob Alfred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Schmit hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Villemanoche's Franck Couderc tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Kilian Diard might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jocelyn Auffret. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kilian Diard ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacob Alfred blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yazid Poix having to make a save. Kilian Diard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yazid Poix came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Villemanoche's Jacob Alfred. But to his dismay, Jacob Alfred quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Villemanoche supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villemanoche would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
