Avouzon's Charles Engel got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute Ahmid Saget shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jolan Jeanpierre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmid Saget fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jolan Jeanpierre having to interfere. With his leg Émile Le Duc managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Mans's Renaud Tomasi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 16th minute, Mans's Renaud Tomasi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Mans's Quentin Allouche got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Claude Devaud shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jolan Jeanpierre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mans's Renaud Tomasi got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sidney Livet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Émile Le Duc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mans defense, Ahmid Saget kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jolan Jeanpierre. The Mans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jolan Jeanpierre should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mans's goalkeeper Jolan Jeanpierre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sidney Livet might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Émile Le Duc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sidney Livet ran back to his position shaking his head. When Renaud Tomasi came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Mans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renaud Tomasi couldn't finish the play. Alex Broux hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Émile Le Duc was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Titouan Vella. Jolan Jeanpierre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Engel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmid Saget to strike the kick off in the second half. Jolan Jeanpierre was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Yohann Tonnellier. Avouzon were furious when Just Poinsignon was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Avouzon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! 64 minutes into the match, Avouzon's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Livet came free, but Émile Le Duc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mans's goalkeeper Jolan Jeanpierre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mans fans cheered their team off the field, for while Avouzon had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
