Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Denis Taraud started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Thionville getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Paul Romano hit a great ball. When Charlie Perraudeau came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Criabé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Perraudeau couldn't finish the play. Gaël Anciaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benoît Courmont having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Thionville's zone, Gaël Anciaux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benoît Courmont came out of the goal and Gaël Anciaux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ben Le Blay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ben Le Blay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Denis Taraud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Callewaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Le Blay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Carl Callewaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Ben Le Blay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carl Callewaert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Denis Taraud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thionville's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Taraud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Callewaert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute of the match Fabian Yonnet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carl Callewaert skillfully saved the ball. If Denis Taraud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A well done corner resulted in Paul Romano drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Criabé's goalkeeper. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaël Anciaux in the 94th minute of play forced Thionville's goalkeeper Benoît Courmont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Callewaert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Taraud, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Thionville's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
