Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Denis Taraud kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Thionville's zone, Samy Crochard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benoît Courmont came out of the goal and Samy Crochard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc-Antoine Vauthier kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. A hard shot 9 in the game by Ben Le Blay from a close distance when the talented Dove Bossut managed to make a qualified save. Alleyriat's players were relieved. Dove Bossut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Taraud in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thionville's goalkeeper Benoît Courmont, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Ben Le Blay fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Ben Le Blay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Le Blay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dove Bossut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lamine Fourneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samy Crochard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samy Crochard might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benoît Courmont. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samy Crochard ran back to his position shaking his head. Samy Crochard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Benoît Courmont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alleyriat's goalkeeper Dove Bossut, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Samy Crochard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benoît Courmont read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samy Crochard made a kick off. Denis Taraud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ben Le Blay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Taraud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the game, Bruno Busnel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alleyriat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thionville the free kick. In the 73rd minute, one of Alleyriat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alleyriat. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Thionville. Faouzi Fuentes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dove Bossut. 1-0. Dove Bossut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Taraud in the 81st minute of play. Denis Taraud struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Dove Bossut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thionville. Denis Taraud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmed Fath hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Denis Taraud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dove Bossut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thionville's Benoît Courmont proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Thionville from getting a goal against them. Benoît Courmont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samy Crochard in the 98th minute of the match. Benoît Courmont was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samy Crochard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 99 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
