He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montrabé reached it. A collision led to Zimmerbach getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Christopher Francais hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Gustave Mori made the kick off in the second half. Kévin Albinet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gustave Mori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zimmerbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustave Mori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jolan Moreaux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Zimmerbach getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Henri Raffalli hit a great ball. Jimmy Gaget stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antony Perronnet's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kévin Albinet got free with Jolan Moreaux in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Zimmerbach's Fabien Verwaerde got a free kick in the 74th minute. Zimmerbach's Jimmy Gaget played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Étienne Noret in the 78th minute of play. If Étienne Noret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jolan Moreaux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustave Mori in the 83rd minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Montrabé's Jean-Marie Ghys tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Théophile Brice kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
