Martin Lengagne struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Amine Sarret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vestric. After having played for 29 minutes, Noé Troncy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rixheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noé Troncy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th play minute Hervé Monnier came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Allan Mateo. 1-0. Noé Troncy struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Allan Mateo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rixheim. Hervé Monniers short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Allan Mateo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noé Troncy to strike the kick off in the second half. Justin Desreumaux's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Amine Sarret skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 58 minutes into the match, Rixheim's goal looked a bit too open when Willy Laffargue came free, but Amine Sarret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rixheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justin Desreumaux was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
