Mario Bocquier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Émilien Le Flem kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Pascal Santos struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Mario Bocquier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosses. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cyril Jadot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marignane's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyril Jadot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Dron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Gourbeyre in the 27th minute of play forced Rosses's goalkeeper Sidney Dron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Rosses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustapha Guillot to maneuver through the defense. Sidney Dron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Gourbeyre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cyril Jadot scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sidney Dron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xavier Bonhomme got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Marignane getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Xavier Bonhomme hit a great ball. If Cyril Jadot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rosses getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gameiro Mulet hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Cyril Jadot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marignane's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyril Jadot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Dron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyril Jadot was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyril Jadot in the 65th minute of play forced Rosses's goalkeeper Sidney Dron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Marignane's Cyril Jadot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidney Dron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Marignane booed when Rosses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascal Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosses's Sidney Dron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyril Jadot in the 73rd minute of play. When Pascal Santos came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Rosses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascal Santos couldn't finish the play. Cyril Jadot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Cyril Jadot made a precise shot to the right of Sidney Dron. Rosses's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 92nd match minute, Rosses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Charles Grangeon to maneuver through the defense. Rosses's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
