The referee ignored Dardilly's protests and gave Henri Tetard a yellow card for diving instead. Henri Tetard hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Hamza Fayolle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 played minutes Jacou got a freekick which was hit by Roman Leseigneur. Adil Latchimy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloi Dutartre in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eloi Dutartre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adil Latchimy was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Jacou's goal looked a bit too open when Philibert Sauze came free, but Adil Latchimy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Franz Lecœuvre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Jacou's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Tetard came free, but Adil Latchimy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Jacou getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Erwan Hoareau hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Bob Raison shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adil Latchimy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adil Latchimy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philibert Sauze went, in the 49th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eloi Dutartre made a kick off. The supporters of Jacou booed when Dardilly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Schatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Thomas Lernould was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dardilly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jacou the free kick. Jacou's Martin Daguin was substituted for Franz Lecœuvre. Thomas Lernould hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Antonin Caulier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th match minute, Dardilly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloi Dutartre to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Dardilly's goal looked a bit too open when Antonin Caulier came free, but Emilien Dubrulle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dardilly's zone, Martin Daguin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilien Dubrulle came out of the goal and Martin Daguin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Dardilly's goal looked a bit too open when Hamza Fayolle came free, but Emilien Dubrulle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Yann Pincemin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Jacou players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
