Brian Letessier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dylan Grasset having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Herlies's Zinedine Ruaud got a free kick in the 14th minute. Paradis's Just Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Paradis's Brian Letessier in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herlies's goalie prevented a goal. Dylan Grasset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Just Castro in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Herlies's goalkeeper Dylan Grasset had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Just Castro. 25 minutes into the match, Antony Gimbert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sammy Hug. Paradis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antony Gimbert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 29th minute, Antony Gimbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute César Cugnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sammy Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Paradis defense, César Cugnet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sammy Hug. The Paradis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sammy Hug should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Antony Gimbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herlies's supporters rose to their feet, but Antony Gimbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sammy Hug breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. César Cugnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sammy Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinedine Ruaud in the 46th minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antony Gimbert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Paradis's zone, Antony Gimbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sammy Hug came out of the goal and Antony Gimbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Paradis's goal looked a bit too open when Antony Gimbert came free, but Sammy Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Antony Gimbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herlies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antony Gimbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Paradis's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after César Cugnet fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zinedine Ruaud kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If César Cugnet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Cugnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sammy Hug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antony Gimbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Zinedine Ruaud hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Brian Letessier got in the 87th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dylan Grasset handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Herlies's Éluard Ridet got a free kick in the 89th minute. Brian Letessier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dylan Grasset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Zinedine Ruaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
