Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rodolphe Célestin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jordan Pucheu charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jordan Pucheu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Béziers! In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Pigeonnier. Romaric Devaux stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Romaric Adeline. 0-1. In the 9th minute, Basile Pellegrin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidney Vega struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Romaric Adeline didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pigeonnier. Hector Bouron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romaric Adeline having to interfere. If Rodolphe Célestin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mehdi Kennel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Béziers's Romaric Adeline played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Vega in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Timothé Coquelet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Camille Pied came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Pigeonnier fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camille Pied couldn't finish the play. Camille Pied sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Pigeonnier were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Béziers's Rodolphe Célestin got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pigeonnier's zone, Cyril Contant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Franchi came out of the goal and Cyril Contant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Rodolphe Célestin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Béziers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolphe Célestin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sidney Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romaric Adeline having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Cyril Contant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Franchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camille Pied scored 0-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romaric Adeline, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodolphe Célestin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Franchi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 81st minute, Cyril Contant left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Béziers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Rodolphe Célestin came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Béziers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolphe Célestin couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
