If Émeric Delaroche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Fonbeauzard's goalkeeper Jocelyn May had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aziz Cailly. Jocelyn May took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Émeric Delaroche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fonbeauzard's Jocelyn May proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Fonbeauzard from getting a goal against them. Mohamed Ruelle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Édouard Fugier in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Yoann Burgun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jocelyn May was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Émeric Delaroche in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jocelyn May prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabin Mottin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Émeric Delaroche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aziz Cailly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jocelyn May tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jocelyn May showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Émeric Delaroche in the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Yoann Burgun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carcot's supporters rose to their feet, but Yoann Burgun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jocelyn May breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Carcot fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Carcot's Ahmed Barbin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jocelyn May made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Aziz Cailly sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fonbeauzard's goalkeeper Jocelyn May, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmed Barbin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Jocelyn May when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When Carcot's Aziz Cailly in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fonbeauzard's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Charpentier during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aziz Cailly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jocelyn May showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Cailly, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Ahmed Barbin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carcot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fonbeauzard the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Carcot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Barbin to maneuver through the defense. Serge Goin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Mohamed Ruelle made a huge save. When Carcot's Émeric Delaroche in 68 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jocelyn May guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ahmed Barbin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jocelyn May tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Ahmed Barbin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carcot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed Barbin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Émeric Delaroche in the 90th minute of play forced Fonbeauzard's goalkeeper Jocelyn May to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Carcot's Ahmed Barbin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jocelyn May narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Fonbeauzard getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Serge Goin hit a great ball.
