Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. François-Xavier Lucien started the match with the kick off. Rachid Montero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tommy Stutzmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rachid Montero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Stutzmann having to interfere. When Guînes's Guillaume Lescure in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gavotte's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Rachid Montero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gavotte's Tommy Stutzmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Stutzmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Lescure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Guînes got a freekick which was hit by François-Xavier Lucien. In the 23rd minute, François-Xavier Lucien left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guînes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers François-Xavier Lucien in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Stutzmann saved Gavotte from getting behind. After 31 played minutes, Guînes's Réda Schlegel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Stutzmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guînes reached it. When Guînes's Rachid Montero in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gavotte's goalie prevented a goal. After 33 minutes of play Guînes's François-Xavier Lucien was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Guînes's François-Xavier Lucien got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Guînes's Rachid Montero in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gavotte's goalie prevented a goal. Guillaume Lescure recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rachid Montero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Rachid Montero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guînes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Montero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gavotte's Tommy Stutzmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Thibert in the 45th minute of play. Adrien Renaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Francon in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
With a little luck, Gavotte's Tommy Stutzmann got control of the ball when Rachid Montero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 54 minutes, Hamza Gantier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guînes and the Gavotte players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Hamza Gantier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes, Gavotte's Serge Baudon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adrien Renaut came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gavotte reached it. Guînes's Adrien Renaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jocelyn Barrau in the 58th minute of play. Guillaume Lescure kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Guillaume Lescure hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Adrien Renaut didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jocelyn Barrau went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rachid Montero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Stutzmann having to make a save. In the 73rd minute, Guînes's Hamza Gantier seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hamza Gantier the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Guînes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hamza Gantier had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 78th minute Jocelyn Barrau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrien Renaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Stutzmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Christophe Cômet in the 84th minute of play. Guillaume Lescure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rachid Montero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tommy Stutzmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavotte's Tommy Stutzmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Montero in the 91st minute of play. Jean-Christophe Cômet might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Stutzmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean-Christophe Cômet ran back to his position shaking his head. Guînes's Rachid Montero got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, Gavotte could leave the field as winners, despite Guînes having more of the ball for most of the match.
